Nokia Lumia 920 would Support 9 LTE Bands!
Nokia Lumia 920 would Support 9 LTE Bands! Written By Yogesh Pareek on Dec 29, 2012 2:54 PM in Mobiles Nokia Lumia 920 One of the many good things about Nokia Lumia 920 is that it will be that it will support 9 LTE bands in India. According to the official website of Nokia India, the latest Lumia 920 will support for LTE in the 700MHz, 800MHz, 850MHz, 900MHz, 1700MHz, 1800MHz, 1900MHz, 2100MHz and 2600MHz bands. Hard to believe but if this news is true, this would make Lumia 920 the world’s first smartphone to support almost all major FD-LTE band being used globally. This smartphone from Nokia supports 5 LTE bands in Europe and 3 bands in America which is way too less than it is expected to support in India. This could be an error from the company`s side as Lumia 920 supports FD-LTE but Indian LTE carriers utilize TD-LTE, which don’t work together. There is a great possibility that Lumia 920 will not support all the bands as claimed on the website as it would lack the TD-LTE support which is a must for Indian carriers.
